New: Honest Comparisons Between Appizy and Other Excel-to-App Tools
Picking a tool to turn a spreadsheet into a web app is harder than it should be β every product’s marketing page claims to be the easiest, the most powerful, or the best value. So we put together something different: a set of comparison pages that are honest about where other tools are genuinely strong, not just where Appizy is.
What’s in the new comparisons hub
Our new comparisons hub currently covers:
- Appizy vs SpreadsheetWeb β two tools built on the same idea (publish your Excel file as-is), aimed at different kinds of teams.
- Appizy vs Airrange β a drag-and-drop builder versus Appizy’s upload-and-publish flow, and what each actually costs once you want to publish.
- Appizy vs SpreadsheetConverter β a one-time Excel add-in license versus a hosted SaaS, and what that trade-off means over time.
- Calculator Studio alternative β a migration guide for anyone affected by Calculator Studio’s shutdown on September 1, 2026, including what to check before picking a replacement.
Why we’re doing this differently
Every claim about a competitor in these pages is sourced from that tool’s own public pricing or feature pages, dated at the top of the page. Where a competitor genuinely wins β more raw formula functions, a one-time license instead of a subscription, native multi-page app building β we say so. We’d rather earn your trust by being straight with you than win an argument by exaggerating.
If you spot something out of date on any of these pages β competitor pricing and features change β let us know and we’ll fix it.
More comparisons on the way
This is the first wave. We’ll be adding more comparisons over the coming months, and the hub will keep growing as we do. If there’s a specific tool you’d like to see compared to Appizy, tell us and we’ll bump it up the list.
Browse all comparisons or, if you’d rather just see for yourself, try Appizy for free.
